For Japan's Golden Week mega-holiday ChocoPro is putting on five straight days of shows, all main evented by Baliyan Akki in a bold play for this season's MVP.

This week is going to absolutely destroy his body if he goes as hard as he has been lately.

All Shows Are Free and Broadcast Live on Youtube

Dates and Time Unless Otherwise Indicated are For Japan

It all started on the 1st of May with the 1 match ChocoPro 110 which was as perfect an episode of ChocoPro as exists and quickly earned numerous MOTYC in the MOTY thread.
It was so stiff and hard-fought I honestly don't know how they're going to be able to recover to wrestle the rest of the days.

It had its own game-day thread found here:https://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3966530

Tonight's card starts in an hour, here's the Super Fan Dogglesnake Match Card from Reddit HERE

Yuko Sakurai debuts! Can she handle the Super Rookie?

Tokiko “Otoki” Kirihara vs Yuko Sakurai

No one can keep Otoki down! Black Comaneci might not have secured the belts in their battle with the Best Bros, but the Super Rookie of the Fourth Generation, Tokiko Kirihara, is still a force to be reckoned with. This vicious fighter can deliver nasty kicks and shocking throws with relative ease, which will come in handy since she will be taking on the unknown...a new arrival! Yuko Sakurai is the latest Actwres GirlZ Colors wrestler to appear in ChocoPro! Thus far, they have all fit like a glove, and Yuko will be no exception. A powerful wrestler and voice actor, Yuko has also appears at Ice Ribbon! Her impactful presence is sure to get a lot of the audience on her side immediately, and it will be interesting to see how her slam style converts over in Ichigaya!

Oni & Ninja vs Speed Demon! Waka Returns to Ichigaya!

Emi Sakura & Sayuri vs Chie Koishikawa & Waka Tsukiyama

Oni & Ninja together once again! Emi Sakura & Sayuri last teamed together in the Heat Up dojo, defeating Chie & RinRin! It seems that the two different forms of trickery they bring to the table work well together! Emi Sakura is a manipulative powerhouse who seems to always be three steps ahead of her opponents. Watch out for those chops! This joshi living legend will be paired up with the Kunoichi of ChocoPro, Sayuri! Our lovable ninja might not have hit her Bodyslam just yet, but she is able to perform jutsus and bizarre techniques that somehow just work in the ChocoPro landscape!

They'll be taking on the initial pairing that led to Waka appearing on ChocoPro in the first place! The “Frantic Fencer” Chie Koishikawa & “Delightful Demon” Waka Tsukiyama, or as I like to call them “Speed Demon”, tagged together in AWG shortly before Waka debuted against her former partner in ChocoPro. While the Devilish fan favorite Waka might have accidentally murdered Chie in their last match together as a team, Chie also unleashed her dark side to get a win over the demon in their last battle against one another! Can these two work things out enough to be able to take down the Oni & Ninja? Expect a lot of shenanigans!

Champions vs Champions! Non Title Match!

The Best Bros (Mei Suruga & Baliyan Akki) vs Tag Team Destroyers (Minoru Fujita & Rina Yamashita)

The Best Bros have been on quite the streak lately. They have defeated both of the threats that appeared during the last season, they have worked alongside EGG TART to take out the Pencil Army, and they have both been making waves across the wrestling scene! Baliyan Akki, the Zephyr of Ichigaya and Ace of the Promotion, is as talented as they come. His encounters against Chris Brookes and Minoru Fujita during Episode 110 showed just how far he has risen! What heights will this technical master reach? His partner, Mei Suruga, loves her tag belts! A trick pin specialist, submission expert, and all around goblin, Mei seems to have skill and experience well beyond the years she has spent in wrestling so far. These two just “get it!”. But this time they will be taking on a somewhat familiar, yet very different threat...another pair of champions!

Minoru Fujita & Rina Yamashita are the Tag Team Destroyers, the reigning King of FREEDOM Tag Champions of Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS. Rina is finally making her ChocoPro debut, after being a mainstay of the Japanese Independent Wrestling scene, recently even appearing against Hikari Noa in a Hardcore Match at TJPW! One of the most brutal wrestlers out there, with a move set that is both flashy and ungodly, Rina has had a very strong year so far in 2021! This super intense brawler appears with her partner, the Super Asia Champion Minoru Fujita...our resident belt collector! When he isn't pulling out his taser mid match, Fujita is a nightmarish opponent with endless endurance and the ability to defeat just about anyone in single combat (including the Ace!). Can the Best Bros hope to match up against this explosive team?

interesting match-up for the first match.

The AWG women have acquitted themselves well in Chocopro, mainly through sheer force of personality.

Yuko feels a little more white meat, but she's been really expressive so far.

Women's Wrestling has a long history of various degrees of exploitation of male sexual desire.

There's more than a small amount of it in modern Joshi (although current trends seem to be moving away from that direction).

Actwres being comprised of actresses and models plus the design of their gear, said to me here's a promotion for men with a prurient interest in women's wrestling.

AWG Colors vs ChocoPro, Round 1!

Chie Koishikawa VS Yuko Sakurai

Welcome back, Yuko! “Too Much Energy” Chie Koishikawa seems to be the gate keeper for the AWG Colors visitors, and with good reason! The Season 6 MVP has been on a hot streak lately, being the killing blow against the Pencil Army in the first 4 vs 4 ChocoPro Match, having earned her first singles victory against Waka Tsukiyama, and generally gaining huge support from the online audience! Those frightening “Haunting Hero” moments and vicious fencing chops have a lot to do with it. She'll need to be on the top of her game to keep that support against Yuko Sakurai, who made her debut on the previous Episode! This Statue of Liberty loving Voice Actress and AWG Colors wrestler is a powerhouse that even gave the Super Rookie Otoki a run for her money! She put Otoki in the Cobra Twist! That is unheard of! While she might be fresh to Ichigaya, Yuko is definitely making her presence known, if the high number of new fans she gained last time was any example! This should be a fun bout of Speed against Power!

AWG Colors vs ChocoPro, Round 2!

Mei Suruga VS Rina Amikura (Debut!)

Mei Suruga is the Genius of ChocoPro, but lately she is leaning more into her Red Devil epithet. Yes, the goblin tendencies have been growing more frequent, with the charismatic technician resorting to cruel tactics, taunting, and even gloating after her many victories! She has added quite a few new stomps lately, too...maybe Mizuki is rubbing off on her? While the Big Apple has tasted victory often along side Baliyan Akki, she'll be on her own against the debuting Rina Amikura! This delightful body press specialist has as big a fascination with Oranges as Mei does Apples! It won't take long for this to become obvious, I'd wager. Apart from her powerhouse capabilities, Her singing talent will make her fit in with the many Idols that call ChocoPro home, and her penchant for comedy is also a prominent feature of the Promotion. While she might be a fan favorite in AWG, Could Rina be the best fit in Ichigaya of the AWG guests yet? We'll find out, live!

Curly Crazy reforms! The Ace teams with SAKI once again!

Curly Crazy (SAKI & Baliyan Akki) VS Emi Sakura & Chon Shiryu

Its been a long time, Curly Crazy! SAKI has been mostly associated with TropiKawild (with Yunamon) in ChocoPro, and while Baliyan Akki might be known for the Best Bros pairing now: this dynamic tag team actually predates his partnership with Mei Suruga by a wide margin! Two insanely talented individuals with wildly different styles (but equally great hair), the Ace of ChocoPro and the Double Champ of AWG (If you haven't seen that Mii designed bear belt, its amazing...and boy is SAKI an imposing figure!) working together is a scary combination. Akki brings breezy high flying and brisk striking, while SAKI provides complicated submissions and Sumo inspired power moves. The ChocoPro audience has been waiting for 112 episodes for this team to come back! Considering both are tag specialists (on top of their other deep skills) there probably won't be much ring rust to worry about!

They'll be taking on the team of Emi Sakura & Chon Shiryu (a pairing that interestingly appears to also not have yet occurred on ChocoPro!) which would usually be a death sentence to a normal tag team! Emi Sakura is the Queen of ChocoPro, the Oni of Gatoh Move, and a Joshi Legend who has impacted the wrestling scene in more ways than you could ever imagine! Her cruel but creative mind has brought us 6+ Seasons of this amazing madness, and in the ring (or Square) her schemes are just as imaginative. With devastating chops and reversals galore, her foes might just find themselves La Magistraled into a pin...or a certain submission! Chon Shiryu is a kung-fu specialist that has a flashy way of doing just about everything. With unique striking, slams, and an overall technique that can't be predicted, the Dragon of ChocoPro will be a great fit alongside Emi once again. Will these Veterans end the happy reunion early?

quote:

Chaos vs Ninja! Yoneyama returns!

Kaori Yoneyama VS Sayuri

While things might not be Gokigen for Kaori Yoneyama in other aspects of her life right now, any time she appears in the Chocolate Square it means we're in for a violent treat. This joshi veteran is a technical wizard and legendary goblin, with the ability to bamboozle the best and pull off moves that will have you rising out of your seat! One of the best sentons in the business. If you have never experienced her in Ichigaya, buckle up. She tends to use the audience as a weapon in a far different way than Mei...She will be battling the Kunoichi of ChocoPro, Sayuri! While the Fourth Generation's Ninja has been seeing more success lately, singles competition is very fierce in ChocoPro. Especially against a veteran with a stellar singles record! But nothing can keep this jutsu expert down! With her ability to run across the wall and vanish before your very eyes, this fight is sure to have some flashy moments. Can Sayuri finally hit her Bodyslam? You know, Yoneyama often tries to hit a Brainbuster to no avail, as well...

Who will get their first victory?

Lulupencil VS Sayaka

The story of Lulupencil has been an emotional one. The General of the Pencil Army recently lost a subordinate (and a friend) when Chris Brookes left the Unit after their heartbreaking loss to the Best Bros + EGG TART Alliance. There is no one on this planet with a bigger heart than Lulu, and the rough speech by Chris afterward made quite the impression on the community. But Lulu cannot let losses hold her back. There is always a “Next Time”! She will never be the fastest, the strongest, or even the most technical wrestler. Lulu is simply the purest hero in existence. Now she will take on the recently returned “Monster Slayer” Sayaka, a model and gamer who doesn't seem to have lost a single step since her time away from Ichigaya. It is actually exciting for me to be able to talk about Sayaka finally, after waiting for so long! Her sections will expand as she carves her path through the promotion! She is known for her picture perfect dropkick, but can she overcome the downtrodden General? What kind of Lulu will show up to this match?

Hiroshi's 10th Anniversary! ChocoPro Ace vs Singing Ace!

Baliyan Akki VS Trans-Am Hiroshi

The Ace has been in rare form as of late. Don't get me wrong, the Zephyr of Ichigaya always makes a strong effort and performs at a level well beyond what he should logically be capable of. But lately there is a little extra zest to everything he does. Is Baliyan Akki reaching another level? In the last Episode, he finally got to fight along side his old partner SAKI in CURLY CRAZY, taking out two veterans in the process. This breezy technician is a joy to watch, his striking, submissions...hell, everything he does is just so crisp! One of the thorns in his side has always been his record against visiting guests, though. This time sees the “Flying Indian” taking on someone who is quite fond of India and its traditions, Trans-Am Hiroshi!

Hiroshi's singing voice is shockingly good. This is taking into consideration that ChocoPro attracts a lot of vocal artists! A veteran of BASARA who occasionally appears on DDT, he is beloved by the ChocoPro audience. While he is known as much for his voice as his Yoga and wrestling prowess, Trans-Am is a well rounded fighter and character that always brings something new to the table. There are times when he is wrestling that you will be overwhelmed by his talent...and times that you will be overwhelmed by his absurd creativity. This bout marks his 10th Anniversary since his debut, it is great that ChocoPro is able to record these events during these uncertain times. This fight could go many ways, but expect it to be worthy of the hype...and possible be considered a work of art on its own.
