I'm just so frustrated. I had a root canal a month ago. I thought it was successful with no complications. Today I had my permanent crown put in and it doesn't fit. They made it as thin as possible but it's taller than the original tooth and is hitting the upper teeth. They adjusted my bite but it feels wrong. And now when I bite I can feel pressure on the tooth. Maxed out my insurance, depleted my HSA to save this loving tooth. Should have just had then yank this loving thing out.

I have had a bunch of crowns and that is not abnormal in my experience. You were missing part or all of the tooth for a while and your bite adjusted. Now it will take time to adjust back. Last one I had done in Jan they had the wrong size and colour a number of times and eventually it went in and felt weird for a while. Only I would say in the last few weeks, 6 months later, does it feel “normal” but I also had two wisdom teeth pulled in March which made things interesting. If it is still crap when your insurance is back next year try somewhere else and see if they can do a better job of making a crown for it.

Depending on the tooth then an implant would be more money and far more invasive. The stake that was drilled into my jaw for the implant took a long time to not feel like poo poo.

The tooth on the opposite side was pulled and I never got an implant. The lain subsided in a week. I just feel like I'm being punished for something.

Welp, verdict is back on wife's Citroen, head gasket is gone, £1200 all in. But that's at least a proper job, head pressure tested, skimmed, timing belt etc. In 20 years of buying cheap cars this is my worst result, not terrible averages I guess. Also a neighbor came round earlier today, apparently the whole street had their garages broken into last night, loads with padlocks cut off like they were planning to come back. We had a look round as a street and nothings amiss but next door said he's got a set of blink cameras he's not been able to get installed so we cracked out the ladders and drills and got them installed. He just dropped round a 6 of IPA, I'm touched.

Baby shark report. Baby Shark sleeps more than expected at night. This is good. Baby Shark had gas last night. This is bad. Baby Shark laughs when he farts. This is hilarious, even if it's preceded by an hour of bent-over crying/screaming newborn. Also, I discovered that I can wedge him vertically against the folded part of the futon in the nursery and halfway nap with him there.

If you are coming out of a VPN in the US then the only other realistic way to know it is still you is the browser and cookies.

Dog is doing ok, did well in surgery. From what I can glean it appears to be a rights issue. The production companies that make MToD own content have rights for North America agrees but the rest of the world is either ambiguous and they could not come to an agreement on money or is expiring and the price the production company wanted was too much for Discovery and Warner Media who own MT now so passed on the international rights because the rest of the world is a commie conspiracy. Either the production companies sell the rights for the rest of the world to Amazon or something or use a VPN to get around the block. Again it is lawyers and money ruining everything.

I've had a few jobs in my time, but retail has me asking "why am I bothering to work?" It's always been for money, experience, or connections, but now the money is so low and the time so long that I am actually asking the question of why I'm bothering to show up to work at all I actually think I'd be happier and know I'd be better paid doing whatever entry level, work from home, call center bullshit I can find
