That's a shame, especially since they announced last night that Takeshita was doing a show for them soon. I remember the Will Ospreay vs Jimmy Havoc (feat. Paul Robinson) feud (which holy poo poo started 8 years ago) to be great even if Jimmy couldn't back up his character work with ring work

Any CZW/GCW aficianados know when this photo was taken? I had a doubletake after seeing it since I thought Wifebeater had been dead for over a decade, but Nick Gage looks pretty similar to now. Although my perception of time is all screwed up, I thought Justice Pain died around the same time as Trent Acid but it was only in 2020

They last two times Hikaru Shida had bookings in Japan AEW just wrote her off with a storyline injury. Could go either way with Gage

Just got home from EPW Re-Awakening 21 and feeling good, crowd was announced at 800 which blew the previous highest of 550 away. The surprise partner for the tag title match turned out to be Mikey Nicholls which was a big surprise, he worked a show for New Japan three days ago. It also made a bit of sense since Mikey along with his partner Davis Storm were two of the founders of the promotion back in 2001, with a fun wrinkle in the number 1 contenders being fellow members of TMDK

For whatever reason the Young Bucks vs Colony (now Orange Cassidy and Drew Gulak) match from Chikara High Noon 2011 popped up in my recommended so thought i'd post it here. Very fun to see proto-YB offence, high energy OC and a very partisan crowd. It was supposed to be Lee/Shawn Spiers vs Matt Cardona and Steph Delander but Steph got injured at the last show and had to miss the rest of the tour, so it became a three way match instead. Was happy to see Kross again, she was cool at the DDT show in Japan I went to but didn't get much time to shine
