I’m considering Cedar Point but it’s not something that I absolutely have to do.

If you feel the need to party you can always take a ferry to Put in Bay. NRA matches are probably going on over at Port Clinton if that strikes your fancy but yeah not much to do in Sandusky.

Ohio doesn't have wildfires or hurricanes or (many) earthquakes or tsunamis or whatever. It's a pretty chill place with some nice lakes and some mountains down south and a lot of forests and farm land. It's the vanilla ice cream of states; nothing exciting, blandly comfortable, and very white.

The USAF museum is arguably the best aviation museum in the country and probably in the world. That's one thing in the state that I would consider a bucket list item for anyone interested in airplanes.

The cash still gets physically moved using the fed as a centralized clearing house. Even coin still gets moved.

I really should sit down and do an effort post on how physical currency moves in our economy, because it can get kinda complicated but long story short an electronic move between FI's will have a corresponding physical move done behind the scenes somewhere.
