What a show. Seems EVERYBODY is over but I'm really curious how they do the Orange Cassidy match next week. I think he's the one whose character/storyline suffered the most without fans. Because if it doesn't how do you retool him?

People were rabid for his near falls at DoN, he’s fine.

What a great show, what a great crowd, and I’m very into the Cody/Black feud already, looking forward to the lore on the tech guy Malakai is paying to turn off the lights.

Pairing off Tommy End’s first program against Cody is right move, put the two most earnest tryhard dorks together and it’s electric. Also want to see Black against Miro as well.

I know Matt said he could smell it on him, but was that the first time we’ve seen street clothes Hangman come out without a drink in hand in a long time?

I'm leaning towards the Elite doing *something* to screw over Hangman one more time.

Or even something like Hangman and Dark Order win the elimination match, Hangman somehow loses the title shot *after* that, but Dark Order sacrifices that tag title shot for him because they believe in him so much.

Then Uno and Grayson move up the rankings anyway and end up beating the Bucks.

I don’t think you need to make it this complicated, just have the Elite eat poo poo until Omega’s got no other choice but to finally defend the title, which he promptly loses. It’s going to run up to All Out, but I don’t think Hangman is going to have any more meaningful setbacks on the chase.

There was a notably high number of Bulgarian students at my college, and this just made me think of them and the very Eastern European parties they would host.

Is it just me or has Penelope stepped up her game a lot over the past couple of weeks? She normally gets lost between moves all the time, but her match last night and one she had with Julia! a few weeks ago were both pretty solid.

Penelope is probably up there with Sonny as far as original signees who’ve stealth improved the most from launch.

Yeah, agree on Bunny, I’m glad she’s feeling well enough to wrestle again, her character choices really work well for the types of matches she’s been having.

I don't get the point of having Scorpio pop out after like two minutes instead of as a twist mid-match. picturing Statlander in the back going "I spent half an hour in a drat claw machine". Also lol at getting to watch him brawl with Sting for five minutes and right as the announcers go STINGER SPLASH! it cuts to Ethan breaking down the ring like :haw:

Love the new mint flavoured TNT belt

The point was to give you something to look at while Ethan destroyed the ring.

The nice thing about not having not watched any meaningful amount of NJPW is that I don’t have any real emotional investment in Kota Ibushi and am therefore ready for Page to kick out of the OWA.

I think if they update the hair on the Britt figure so it’s not the style with the tight braids on one side it’d offset the face sculpt to look more accidents.

I'm not surprised the unmatched figures don't look great cause they're the budget ones right? Like these are gonna be cheaper and are the ones they are making for kids to play with instead of pathetic losers like me to buy.

Same specs and pricing as Unrivaled, just a new name to game the system and get additional shelf space.

Said this when AEW first started - promotions need Disco Inferno's. Not as in Gilberti who is a tosser, but those loveable jobbers who won't go anywhere but are beloved all the same. It's something WWE long forgot about with the brand being the star and thus everyone has to be 50/50 or a loser.

Hell La Parka in WCW was memorable and a Hall of Famer but can anyone in good faith look at his WCW run as pushed? He was a cool looking skeleton luchador jobber. Much like a certain Pentagon Jr. in Lucha Underground originally.

In conclusion:

Honestly feels like Fuego falls into this category but as a scrappy babyface jobber you could conceivably run a giant killer angle with at some point or whatever rather than a comedy sad sack loser.
