Luigi's Mansion was a launch title for the Gamecube in 2001 and probably one of my favorite games for that system, behind Rogue Squadron 2.

It finally got a sequel over a decade later when Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon came out for the 3DS in 2013. A mere six years later, Luigi returned to more scares in Luigi's Mansion 3 for the Switch.

I've played the first game countless times, and the second game just once. I'm playing this game completely blind, and unfortunately rather slowly and with an insane desire to check everything that can be checked, breaking everything that can be broken, vacuuming everything that can be vacuumed, and sometimes switching the vacuum from suck to blow.

Releases come out Tuesday and Thursday.

TODAY'S GONNA BE A GOOD MOTHERFUCKIN' DAY!!!
How was Dark Moon? I only played the first game (quite a bit).

Edit: The first game's device was the Game Boy Horror. I'm disappointed the dog isn't named Puppergeist.

It was actually quite fun. Obviously there were some BS levels, but it wasn't a big deal. I committed to using only one guide (which levels you can find gems on). And I kept to it with only two instances of giving up and checking for the exact location of a gem. Worst of all, one of them was in a spot that I was convinced it was in, I just couldn't figure out how to reveal it.

My biggest complaint is completely stylistic. I don't like games that make you go into a stage multiple times, with the stage just being a little different each time (Like in Super Mario 64). I prefer open continuous maps like in the original Luigi's Mansion, and like it looks we have in this game. It's more of a metroidvania style. However, since it was on the 3DS, I'm sure it was more practical to do it that way to save space or memory.

Overall, it's a pretty fun game.

This time, we put the first set of buttons back in the elevator, and retrieve Prof. E. Gadd's briefcase. Plus fight a maid waifu. Spoiler: she's not a waifu.

Also, if you catch this as I post it, I'll be streaming the next episode in a few minutes. I'll delete this once the stream is over.

The fact that this is a blind run becomes completely obvious. I end up exploring the dining hall instead of the shops. I only realize my mistake at the end of the episode.

I haven't played this game and am enjoying the LP greatly, thank you!

Regarding the blue gem in the basement/garage level; I thought there was a grate up the ladder and in the back left top corner. Maybe I couldn't see the screen well, but mind trying Gooigi's luck up there?

Thanks for the praise. It means a lot. It's what us dancing monkeys that entertain you run on.

Good eye catching that grate. I didn't see it. I'm still getting used to catching gooigi hints. They don't come fully naturally yet. Then again, the plunger hints don't come naturally yet, and I think I spotted one in this video as well.

They say true art comes from suffering. If so, this episode must be a masterpiece. The stream was dead (I'm by no means a huge streamer, but I'm not actually sure if I've ever had a stream with no viewers before, not counting things like test streams, even streams that were just me grinding and singing Christmas Carols had viewers), I completely forgot that overloading the vacuum lets you jump, and my muscle memory for the controls was messed up because I played a bunch of Luigi's Mansion 2, and the controls are just different enough to be annoying. The cherry on top is that this boss was a massive pain. At least I remembered how to jump while fighting him.

Regardless, as I've stated multiple times, I am but a humble e-thot, and I hope my suffering brings you pleasure.

Also, a combination of 2 hour calls with the GF, date nights with her, and catching up on exercising that I missed because of those two reasons caused me to miss streaming all of last week. The annoying heat wave sure didn't help. Unfortunately, my queue of videos is getting sparse, so I plan on doing a streaming marathon today to get some footage recorded, because I only have my upload schedule full up to Monday.

I'll be streaming at least two episodes of SRW 2G, and 1 level of creeper world 4. However, I'd hope to get two episodes each of SRW 2G, CW4, and LM3. Stream starts at 2:15 PDT (30 minutes from now)

Oh, and this is the last Saturday release of an episode. Next week is a transition week, and the episode will be out on Thursday instead, and the week after that, it'll fully take over my Tuesday/Thursday slot, and SRW 2G will take over the Saturday slot.

This episode starts off with a phone call from the (now ex) GF interrupting the stream (no, interrupting the stream had nothing to do with the breakup). Fortunately, editing magic makes it happen in the blink of an eye. In this episode, Luigi goes to a RenFaire, explores a castle, and fights against a jousting ghost king.

Someone decided to grow a garden inside the hotel. Fortunately, Luigi is here to DESTROY EVERYTHING! Instead of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, we have the Luigi Buzzsaw Massacre. Also, I manage to get every gem on the floor. I'm proud of that accomplishment, even if the episode ran a little long from a combination of trying to explore every nook and cranny, and getting stuck on simple puzzles, like double plunger puzzles.

I've also started uploading this LP to Rumble. However, I'm uploading 1 episode a day, so it won't catch up until the start of next week.

Luigi has his chance to break into Hollywood! He directs a horror movie, a medieval castle siege, and homages to Sesame Street and Honey I Shrunk the Kids. After that, Luigi gets to star in his very own Kaiju movie!

We're in for quite a treat with this one.

Nope. I haven't tried that yet. Gooigi can usually only go through grates, but it makes a lot of sense that he could make it into the bottle, I'll try that next time I'm streaming.

A little backtracking lets us get an obvious gem from the studio that I missed. Thanks Cloud Potato. And as I write this, I realize how I was supposed to get a gem that I missed in this episode.

Still, we explore the boiler room, which leads straight to the sewers. Don't think about how badly Luigi smells here.

Hmm. That room with the statue of the three ghosts, one missing a hat, and at the other end of the room a large hat that I think you can pick up, is it possible to shoot the hat onto the statue?

General Revil

That makes a lot of sense. I was avoiding that hat because it "ate" Luigi while the room was still haunted. I didn't consider that it could be a puzzle item once the room got unhaunted. Next video is already recorded as I'm on vacation, but I'll try that when I'm streaming Monday night.
