Remove the batteries and drop in a Nissan LEAF 30kw Li-Ion pack. That puppy can push out 350V, which can probably get you up to like 35MPH before it burns up the motor. But then you'll be going 35MPH while on fire!

i forgot to mention the budget here was $0.00. i bet i can whip up some decent racing stripes with electric tape though, and removing the roof/turning part of it into a spoiler sounds dope. re: the speed limiter, my googling tells me electric carts don't have those they're just naturally limited. no gearhead friends in the area, but i posted in ai which is pretty much the same thing
