I think they are starting to change it but in LA rail lines has no priority at street lights, so you literally have lumbering 3-4 car trains starting and stopping every few blocks. Also, Boxsters as with all sports cars need to be automatic. There is no other way to drive them.

also in the twin cities like a previous poster, on the minneapolis / st paul border, but my parents are in a suburb that borders st paul 10 minutes by car 80 MINUTES and THREE BUSES by public transit. also you have to walk 1.5 miles in between this is the light rail map, green and blue is current, rest is planned by 2030. I'm right by the center prospect park station on the green line, and they are in Roseville. If you need to go to the suburbs (god help you) you are hosed without a car. and they are in the closest one. Also I have a 70 pound dog I need to transport I drive so little I got one of those pay by the mile insurance plans. like 2000 miles/year.
