Kawalimus, can I get your thoughts on the following?

WYTS posted:

The Ravens never have any good wideouts. Their backs are always hurt. Their best player is their kicker. No matter how hard the Ravens try to prevent it from happening, somehow Pittsburgh will still dominate this loving division for the next century. David Simon tried to make a less pro-cop version of The Wire this year and it’s not very good.

Maybe Harbaugh will announce Greg Roman's departure and talk like he normally does. Then DeCosta will get up and be like "and also we have another...unfortunate departure to announce". Then John Harbaugh is like "wait, you're not bringing back Lamar? Who will save my bacon now??" Then DeCosta is like "No, John." Then gets up and whacks Harbaugh in the head with the SB47 Lombardi Trophy and gives him a professional wrestling style beatdown. Then Lamar appears to stop the carnage and gets between DeCosta and the bloodied Harbaugh. Then turns around with a nasty grin and joins in the beatdown.

Step 1 done:

you're referring to when they advertised that the mcnuggets were now made with all white meat chicken. sometimes in the distant past you would bite into a chicken nugget from there, and the inside would be a piece of hard gristle surrounded by spongey fat. you would either chomp onto it a few times and swallow it, or spit it out. that was about 1 out of every 7 or 8 nuggets. so sometimes you didn't get a bad one in your happy meal. but sometimes you could get 2. and you only got 4 so that was awful. jooooohn harbl

This seems like a good analogy for Ravens seasons.

That's another problem. One of the biggest things the Ravens did was becoming the first ever team to beat the 49ers in a Superbowl. Then that got diluted when the Chiefs also beat them but it's still ok. A big problem here is that the Bengals have lost to the 49ers twice So they were a big part of that 5-0 thing to begin with. So if the Bengals get one of those wins back it not only further weakens the original 5-0 end, but also messes up part of what that was to begin with.

I've already accepted that the Bengals have won the Superbowl. I can live with this. I know they are going to beat the Chiefs and then whoever the NFC opponent is. It's a done deal. But what I'm more worried about is the Eagles vs the 49ers. The Eagles MUST win. Their loss cannot make the Ravens situation worse.
