Tom did it again! Some NFCS storylines to watch: Can the Bucs repeat? What will the post Drew Brees era look like (ft. Jameis Winston/Taysom Hill)? Panthers going in on Sam Darold. Whatever the Falcons are doing. wandler20 fucked around with this message at 20:20 on Aug 9, 2021 |

Jameis going to throw for 4500 yards, 38 TDs, and like 19 INTs and the Saints will give him a 3 year $90m contract.

Random thought, how did Hill get away with taunting all year, only to have it so doing his own taunt back to him is taunting, when the original taunt wasn't ever called as taunting?

In that specific instance, Hill's was during the play as he was running away/scoring. For Winfield it was after the play and he made a point to get Hill's attention and did the peace sign at him. That's probably why, near as I can figure. In an interview afterward he fully admitted he knew it was taunting (see quote in my avatar) Joey Freshwater fucked around with this message at 13:43 on Aug 10, 2021 |

Yeah, I think Joey is right. Which it's funny because apparently throwing up the peace sign DURING the play is for sure NOT taunting, but throwing up the peace sign AFTER the play is TOTALLY taunting lol. No Fun League!

Yeah I mean if a guy waves at someone chasing him or flexes or high steps/backflips into the endzone it doesn't get called because it's during the play. It's a weird line to draw for sure

I don’t think Payton is any more tolerant of turnovers than Arians so I can’t see the Jameis experiment lasting that long.

What's the 17th game coming from? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understood the 16-game schedule as: 6 games against division 4 games against random NFC division 2 more games against NFC teams who had the same rank in their division as you 4 games against random AFC division What's the 17th game?

They were winning at the half, and the Saints were playing like dogshit. They absolutely should have been 6-10. I'm not sure if when this was. 2015, maybe?
