Video game: Doom II Taken on its own, as originally released, it's already one of the best games of all time. As much fun to play now as it was then. But if you include fan-made content? It's no contest. You could play no games other than Doom II for the rest of your life and you'd still basically have an unlimited supply of new and fun stuff to do. And if you get into making your own? That's a whole new layer to the enjoyment you can get out of this one game. Doom II is not just the best video game, it's a cultural phenomenon. A genre-defining artwork. Movie: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street This is an excellent movie. But it's no Doom II. TV show: Doctor Who Not that new trash though. 1963–1989 is the good stuff. Well, some of that is the good stuff. There's also some pretty bad stuff there. 1966-1974 was mostly mediocre at best. 1982-1986 weren't great years either. But there is some good stuff in there. Still, it's no Doom II.
