Fightful Select: To follow up on the Sasha Banks situation, Raj Giri has reported that Sasha Banks was off of tonight's show. Fightful Select had spoken to people today who weren't sure what exactly was going to happen tonight, but the plan as of Smackdown was to promote the match as if it were going to happen. To kill an incorrect story that circulated last night, Sasha Banks' absence from Smackdown was not planned as a part of the story. Even beyond that, WWE had hoped to get Megan Thee Stallion involved in the show as recently as a week ago.
