Movie's based more on the novel I think, and reading the manga first made me dislike the movie because it felt like Rita gave up all of her agency in exchange for actually getting to drink that cup of coffee. I mean, sure she got to shoot Tom Cruise a lot, but she was supposed to remember the time loops too and not be completly dependent on his knowing what was going to happen and spend all of the fighting following his orders.

Yes and no. A lot of mobage that get global releases hope to hit big numbers but more niche things tend to run into stumbling blocks like a lot of the most die hard fans already playing the jp version. Madoka wasn't really a hot property in the west, which compounded with the way too fast event pacing, the fact it was hard to recommend to people who weren't already deep into Madoka, and so on.

Sales numbers and the like were never released so the specifics are speculative in the end.

Yeah, I gave Madoka a little money to get my favorite character in the start dash, and again during the Nanoha event, but then just fatigued out. There might have been some optimal strategy to having enough time in the day to play both the events and the normal story, but I sure didn't figure it out before I lost the will to keep up.

300 years of killing slimes hits a weird note of being a tourist isekai about a woman who becomes a NEET for several centuries. The show improves after more of the cast is introduced but there's never anything that can threaten more than the main characters feelings and it's just a light and fluffy series that Dynasty Scans would tag 404Men-not-found.

I thought the manga was pretty good once I got used to the art style. The pacing was really weird though and sometimes managed to feel rushed and slow at the same time.
