Though, there's nothing wrong with exploring alternative endings through fan media: I think some of the most popular genres of fanfiction are just people attempting to give a series what they believe to be a better ending/continuation, or to explore underutilized elements and relationships of the canon source materials. the problem is that a lot of people like to bash fan media like fanart/fanfiction because they think everything about fans are terrible

actually i decided to listen to their spring 2021 taster video and closed out as soon as cube said she thought junko from zombieland saga singing voice didn't fit her and said it was autotuned when it isn't, then she proceeded to complain that the first episode of revenge was more serious, despite the previous season also having serious episodes especially near the end. i also listened to the granbelm episode where she seemed confused by a lot of the series, even though from what i've read and seen, it seems pretty straight forward Willo567 fucked around with this message at 19:31 on Sep 17, 2021 |

So I understand that BDs and DVDs in Japan for anime are ridiculously expensive, and therefore more people just stream it there. If a show has great BDs sales but low streaming numbers, does that necesarrily make it a flop
