Apparently a lot of thought went into the Jacksonville selection for the Saints game against the Packers. Fairly interesting article.

https://twitter.com/JeffDuncan_/status/1433185239753535489

Florida quickly became a target. Not only were all three of the league’s home stadiums available there on opening weekend but the Sunshine State’s legendary heat and humidity would theoretically provide a home-field advantage for the Saints, who were accustomed to practicing in triple-digit heat indices at their Metairie training camp. Aaron Rodgers’ career 3-4 record and pedestrian 78.1 passer rating in the state did not go unnoticed.

The Saints even took it a step further. They had a staffer look up Green Bay flights on Expedia and compare the difference in costs and itineraries between Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa. Predictably, Jacksonville was the most difficult and costly destination for Packers fans.

The Cheese Heads still might migrate south for the game, but the Saints certainly didn’t want to make things an easier for Packer Nation to make the trip.

28-3 spawned a 5-7 hour 7 part series by Jon Bois on the futility of the Falcons. That says it all.

At what point do people go “well maybe he’s on to something” with the TB12 and no strawberries(?) stuff? Like if he keeps this up for another 5 years? 8?

It would be hilarious if whatever he’s actually doing is really the key to immortality or at least extending your life exponentially

Being a Bucs fan is the key to immortality? poo poo.

To be fair he looked good in preseason.

Anytime you can bring in a 35 year old WR for a team that would be lucky to win 3 games, you do it.

Hey Houston, you can sign me for just one million bucks. I'll give you about the same amount of production but be much much cheaper.

Third is a bit higher than I'd like but considering the Texans footed most of his salary, I get it. Plus we are getting another comp 3rd round pick for Fontenot next year anyway.
