I've learned about about punk rock in the last week and that people like their niche bands nobody else has ever heard of. I want to learn more about genres that I listen to

So let's get the two most well known ska punk songs out of the way. Are you ready yet? Get set! It's the 2-Tone Army!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC6UF2Fn65A

Anyone over the age of 25 has probably pretended they're a Superman too, but it was really special to those of us who grew up in the era where Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was the greatest sports game of all time and Ska Punk was a Genre of Rock
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvziPPpryv0

And then of course we've got the classics. My father had a massive record collection and when I bought one of my first CDs, Digimon: The Movie he instantly recognized the singer of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones from his time in his 20's in the scene. If I were to rate him as a ska-punk fan I guess he would pass
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIGMUAMevH0

But eventually the genre did get big and sold out

Post your favorite Ska-punk songs. It's a genre that sounds so upbeat about being depressed and we could all use that kind of energy

Suicide Machines and Streetlight Manifesto really rule.

But now it's time for the classic Ska-Punk cover songs

But if you really want the full experience, just listen to the time Me First and The Gimme Gimme's ruined little Jimmy's Bar Mitzvah or literally any of their stuff because it's all covers. They did cover songs of the Blue Hearts.

They've had a revolving cast of some really big headliners. Fat Mike from NOFX and two members of Lagwagon (Also from Tony Hawk games!) are core members, but former members are from Foo Fighters, Bad Religion and Minor Threat. It's where people go to have fun. Spike is a great MC/vocalist that can do so many different styles

I knew of the band but never really listened to ‘em. That was a mistake. Had no idea about all that. Will rectify that now.

If you didn't click on their EP you're doing yourself a disservice. I have no idea if Spike is Jewish but he was also killing it in Yiddish for the Bar Mitzvah live album
