We need some big rear end pieces of cardboard and buying new is insanely expensive. And just feels dumb. Do any of you awful friends have suggestions on where we could find some free big chunks?

Go to a Lowe's/Home Depot (preferably on a weekday) about an hour after they open and ask someone in receiving. Depending on the store, either the delivery guys will be unboxing appliances for delivery or if they unbox on site they'll be returning boxes from yesterday's deliveries. Everything gets thrown into a compactor shortly after though so you'll want to be there ahead of time and willing to stick around for a bit because they don't like to save anything for too long.

Liquor stores usually have a ton of cardboard boxes just sitting around, I’ve gotten tons of it for moving by just asking one.
