And then you no longer have money to give them so you finally face repercussions, which is what's happening now.

One of those points you mentioned directly conflicts with the narrative of him being broke and it’s pretty great that you posted all that and didn’t see it.

How can he owe 2MM in back taxes without that being, at maximum, 35% of his income? That’s if every red cent he made was counted as regular income, the highest tax rate you could end up paying. To actually have it end up this way would mean that he is the dumbest motherfucker to ever earn a dime but it can give us an idea of how much he is making.

The math there tells us that he made at absolute minimum 2MM / .35 = 5.71MM in that taxation time frame, absolute bare basic minimum. The idea that he “can’t make” 130k of rent is ludicrous. He chooses not to, because he thinks he is invulnerable. Just like he chose not to stop preying on children, because he thought his money and fame made him invulnerable. This is a very rich man who makes extremely poor decisions and is now paying for it. In social costs, not monetary.

They're called "back taxes" because you owe them on things that happened in the past. Otherwise they're just "taxes".

Right, same definition for back rent and crap. Over whatever time period that tax bill ran up, he made at least 5.71 million. Probably a lot more, rich people are the ones who care about dodging taxes and poo poo so it would not surprise me in the least if his real income was double that or more. He chose not to pay a lot of that stuff, mostly because as a rich and famous person something like eviction doesn’t matter to him. He can go pretty much anywhere else he wants and get a place to sleep and abuse children because he’s R effin Kelly.

It’s coming back to bite him now in various ways because he literally pissed a lot of that money away onto little girls. Period. Hard stop.

It’s the entire point that he’s gotten all this money is the point in my mind. This isn’t some swaggering techbro talking about how his app is gonna make him king of Silicon Valley, he actually made this money. We can agree that he has made more millions than the 99% will see in their entire lifetimes by the time he was halfway through and has actively chosen to make terrible and malicious decisions and even from a social capital perspective he’s easily one of the most famous (and therefore rich) people of the last 20 years.

So he’s 1%er with money, at least a 1%er with fame, and we come in here and go “oh won’t someone please think of the poor broke rappers under legal indictment”? Laughable. Kelly is going down in spite of his millions and his fame, not because they’re suddenly absent.

Keep kicking those goal posts down the line. You balked at the idea that he's broke, then did some math to try to prove it but now you're talking about his social value to cover up the fact that you were wrong and he already lost/spent it all and is in massive amounts of debt.

gahahahhahahaha he's a 1%er in terms of raw income no matter what way you slice it dude let me refer back to my original post:

you tripled down on this idea that oh no he's broke, you can't whine about me pointing out that r. kelly has been an institution unto himself for actual decades. idk what your point was of bringing it up in the first place but he's definitely going down in spite of being rich and famous, not because he stopped being those things.
