Most of the top 25 matchups sucked rear end, but there were a bunch of cool upsets. America's team, Arky, lost but maybe we have a new America's team in Kentucky? At least until they get loving stomped by Georgia in 2 weeks.

Barely beat Troy in one of the dumbest games I've seen us play in years, but I guess I don't feel too bad about barely losing to Kentucky now. I dunno, this team is still rear end and will probably lose by 30 to UT next week. Go Cocks or something.

e: Still the only team that has scored an offensive touchdown on Georgia lol

I can't even blame Todd Grantham! Kentucky couldn't do poo poo on offense all night outside of 1 explosive play. Kentucky were 1 for 9 on 3rd down, and 0 for 1 on 4th down.

That is all on Mullen. Wanting to run the drat ball when it was clear the run was not working. Punting twice around the Kentucky 40. Not running a 2-minute drill when the Gators had 3 timeouts to end the 1st half.

So some fun Florida facts:

Florida had more total penalties than points today
Florida is 3-5 in their last 8 games
Dan Mullen was the first Florida coach in 33 years to lose against Kentucky, and now he is 2-2 against them
Florida sucks
Todd Grantham has blackmail on Mullen

We looked pretty bad today, but it's great to get a conference road win off a game where you play like poo poo. There was some real trash officiating in the first half and several completely baffling TCU turnovers that we definitely don't win without.

We didn't really capitalize on them though. Kicked 3 FGs off those turnovers. Got stuffed on 4th and goal from the 1 too.

I don't want to be too negative though. TCU usually plays us really well. Plus we got an easy win coming up next week.

lmao Jimbo Fisher had 7 years left on his 10 year fully guaranteed $7.5m a year contract before this season and A&M gave him an extension back to 10 years and a raise to $9m a year.

Were they worried that recruits wouldn’t want to commit to a coach who might be gone in 7 years? Was someone else waiting in the wings to give him a 10 year $90m contract if A&M didn’t?

Texas won, and Notre Dame and Aggies lost. Baylor also. Good Saturday.

Oregon managing to lose to Stanford, after coming back from losing to Stanford, was surprising and funny.

Georgia and Alabama look hilariously far beyond the pack. The rest of the sec are gonna dick punch each other a bunch.

Apparently replacing your oline and QB then having both positions hit with injuries is not a recipe for building on the great season last year. How the hell do you take a safety from the 11 yard line.

I’ll hope this year is a dud and the offense will be much improved next year, but even then we’ll probably lose Elko at some point and the defense will take a slide.

Iowa State soundly thumping us instead of weirdly struggling with us and only winning through weird backup quarterback antics says a lot about Matt Campbell though.

I predicted that Mizzou would potentially be an 8-4 team, and the way they're playing they'll be lucky to win 4 games this year.

Don't know how much of that is on the D-coord, don't know how much of it is on the talent (or lack thereof), but one thing's for certain, Luther Burden (star WR recruit from ESTL, who everyone thought was going to Mizzou) will be playing SEC East football, all right...in silver britches, mark my words.
