It might have been a time issue to some degree, at least for the base game classes. Hilda gets replaced by a female War Master (who uses, IIRC, a Myrmidon sprite and model) if recruited on Azure Moon and I remember some people in the Games threads pointing out that gauntlets don't quite fit female models right, so the gender locks might have been a "gently caress it, we need to ship this, scrap the stuff we couldn't finish" thing. I got nothing for why they couldn't have taken just a bit more time to throw male mages a bone with the DLC classes though.

You aren't actually limited to one effect from cooking, multiple meals will stack, including repeats of the same meal. If you've got a big enough pile of Bullheads you can run around with +2-3 spd all the time.

I'm pretty sure that one line on his defeat is the only time on any route that Rhea even acknowledges Cyril's existence. That she doesn't even care enough to notice he survived only makes it funnier.

Given that one of them's named Chevalier, I've always assumed Rhea named her golems after lesser saints and other family members who died too early to be canonized. That shared name is the only real backing I've got for that theory, though.
