I dont think I'm the only one who is feeling that way. I say it'll make you feel better. Don't overthink it.

I'm absolutely slammed with stuff this year, but that's why I'm making myself do it. It'll be good to have a reason to focus on something else for a little bit.

Plus, by not participating you deprive someone else of the joy of sending you a shitload of broken car parts.

Crunchy Black My vehicles: M2 Competition, e30 superETA stroker mutt, 2019 Sierra AT4, J/24, Thistle The tool I most commonly use/wish I had: Something small I would really like: something cool or interesting local to you, stickers are good and I like booze/bourbon Hobbies: Racing Sailboats, Vinyl, datahording, Macintoshes, violent communist revolution Shirt size: mens medium Food Allergies: nope! Junk/No Junk: I've got plenty of crap, whats a little more? Comments: I'm in an AI holding pattern; there's not really any more I can do in my carport and its going to be at least 2.5 years before I move somewhere with a garage and out of the south, so I'm trying to figure out which projects I shelve and what I press forward with. In the interim I'm doing a lot of sailboat racing before I get too old to really do it competitively. A big thing in my life right now is post-COVID brain fog; idk if that's helpful at all but as you might imagine its kinda front and center for me. A local merchant option: I ain't going to costco until after the 1st of the year. I'm north of Atlanta. Dicks/No Dicks: Dicks Nominated Charity: I don't think you can donate to F@H directly so throw some CUDA cycles their way or anything disease research-related.

Hi Team, I just got back from a last minute camping trip/mental health break. I will organise matches and email to you in 24 hours. I'll leave registration open until then to allow for any latecomers.

Ok, matches are out. Every year I forget exactly how I did it last year. Every year I have made enough changes to render last years work mostly irrelvant. One day I'll get it right! Please check your spam boxes etc. If you haven't recieved an email soon, please let me know asap. I have done some hopefully fun poo poo this year. Please forgive me, I have taken a little bit of creative licence with the existing format. Now the nerve wracking wait to see what I hosed up As previous years, I have assigned InitialDave as my santa, in the hopes that someone will PM hiim and swap, to preserve a little mystery for me slothrop fucked around with this message at 02:15 on Nov 4, 2021 |

Ho Ho! My Santee is in for a few home made treats plus locally shipped stuff, one I made PRIOR to knowing who it was so a random post in their history is going to be relevant by accident when they see one of the gifts.

Charities Well, you goons haven't made this easy. There is a huge list of really worthy charities that have been posted here. I'm not really sure how to sort through them, certainly Planned Parenthood has the most votes but wheres the fun in choosing a front runner! I've tried to categorise into some vague/broad categories for you to vote on, then we can have a CHARITY BATTLE ROYALE! Vote in the poll at the top of the thread, top category will get broken down into individual charities and I will issue an Idiot King Challenge to the noninator of said charities to enter the BATTLE ROYALE! Which charities fit into which category? That's for me to know and you to find out! Kids Animals/Nature LGBTQI+ Vulnerable People Health Related Other Voting Closes 1 December, or whenever I remember to update the thread. slothrop fucked around with this message at 12:06 on Nov 22, 2021 |
