Ohhh poo poo that IS Lisa Trevor! Ok yeah I'm watching it. She's probably my favorite bit of minor Resident Evil lore Also I loved the Paul Anderson RE movies because I went in knowing they were gonna be poo poo, never expected anything more and got exactly what I wanted out of them

I love the Resident Evil games, but the story is terrible and makes no sense. Plus the dialogue will probably be that quip-filled Marvel dialogue, which I started finding obnoxious 10 years ago. That said, I've seen almost all the RE animated films which are also terrible, so I'll probably wait until my husband's gone and watch it. Plus the trailer remindes me of that He-Man What's Going on Video.

A bit odd going with Clare as the lead. and who seems to know everything about Umbrella's dodgy poo poo already but after the RE2 remake she is objectively the best character so not complaining. Kinda funny that the creature effects in the trailer look less convincing than they do in the remakes though, and I don't think squeezing RE and RE2 into a single film is gonna work too well.
