RE: the F35... thing: What's the aborted-take-off procedure for a non-catapult carrier actually look like? Because (and the scale and telephoto lens might be loving with me here), I would think that the brakes and throttling down should just about do it for the moderate jogging pace that plane got up to? Or is it strictly "In thrust we (meaning you) trust", V1 in context happens when the wheel chocks have been removed?
