Because the narrative being pushed is "CRT only teaches your kids that all white people are bad, including them, and you should feel ashamed for being white. That's all it is, only that." and the Dems are doing a poo poo job of explaining that it isn't.

If it takes longer than one sentence for Democrats to explain it, then they’ve already lost the argument regardless to the truth of it. Bumper sticker politics works quite effectively. It’s a tried and true tactic of forcing your opponent to explain or defend something that isn’t truth but it’s being screamed at loud enough that people are convinced it is. And when the democrat has to explain it? ‘He’s lying! You can’t convince me otherwise!’ And proceeds to vote GOP.

I mean, I know the odds are slim to none, but at the least it would seem an opportune moment for proponents of collective bargaining & unionization to point out the message that it sends for Obama to take so much filthy lucre from the world's worst boss.

Remember Trump wanted the DOJ to look into Obama’s dealings with Amazon and Netflix because terms of the deals were not publicly disclosed. And that Democratic politicians can not and should not benefit financially once they leave office.

(Though he only did that not because he wanted to limit conflicts of interest or enhance the fairness clause to ensure political messages were even on the platforms. He just hates Obama and his family with such ferocity.)

but you see, paying the football coach ten million a year draws fans so the school can use that extra money to benefit the student experience in a way besides raising tuition!

oh.

The astronomical rising costs of tuition at these schools are the result of the student loan system wanting to keep kids in debt with interest payments for most of their adult lives. Not football coaches or their programs. That’s just the recruiting tool for potential students who would never even step foot on an athletic field or court. Maybe they’ll get to use the athletic center, nah already booked by the teams.
