Router is blocking netflix content I lost all internet service the other day, the ISP tech came over and fixed it by replacing the power cable on the modem. I have service again. Right afterwards, I noticed that the profile pictures on Netflix had changed and that we were missing some of the shows we watch. Attempted fixes: I plugged the cable from the modem straight into my roku box and the content returned, leading me to suspect the router. I can access everything normally from all devices when I'm not on my home network. I've updated the firmware on the router, flashed it to dd-wrt, back to factory settings, nothing changes. I've looked up my current IP and the location seems to be correct. Recent changes: I have not touched anything in the router in I don't even know how long. There's no way it's a coincidence this all started when the modem problems did. -- Operating system: windows, ios, android etc, all devices are affected System specs: see above Location: USA I have Googled and read the FAQ: I've googled for hours, nothing even close to matching.

Is there any VPN in your setup? Does the router have a built-in VPN that's enabled? If not, i have no idea. If the profile picture icons themselves are changed inside the Netflix account, maybe doublecheck that you're logged into the right Netflix account (I have multiple account logins saved, and sometimes mistakenly log into the wrong one). nobodygetshurt fucked around with this message at 23:30 on Nov 10, 2021 |

No VPN in the picture at all, I only have the 1 account. I don't know what happened or how I should have fixed it, but it all magically started working on its own last night.
