Trade magazines are magazines that cater to a very specific, but professional, niche. There was a thread in GBS about BULL SEMEN and I ended up reading an entire (68 page) PDF of a magazine and posting some excerpts. I'll repost what I posted there to start, but please suggest other trade mags or professions you think might be funny Also, if you have a lame bull, I'll be happy to help you troubleshoot it, since I am now an expert. I get a trade magazine and I ironically love it. It’s called ‘Woodshop News’ and it’s light on content and heavy on ads but it’s free and the content is occasionally useful and the ads are not bad. Some really nice bulls up there tho

I forgot to mention, but both issues of Elevator World I opened had an entire page dedicated to fully explaining all the gruesome elevator related deaths in the country that had happened since the last issue.

Yikes... but i can see why, it's important to learn from case studies. If a pattern emerges it can suggest new safety standards that should be put in place. I think a lot of industries do this.

I don’t want to brag but when I was 5 I was on the front cover of Fishing Tackle Trade News AND Farm Pond Harvest. It was a tightly held secret that both publications were owned by the same person. Imagine cornering both the Farm Pond AND Fishing Tackle publication market. I’ll look for my copies so I can share the wisdom within.
