I snagged Casino. Thanks! (I'd take Big Lebowski, too, but I don't want to be a jerk.)

Whatever it is, it's apparently not "publication" which is a thing you'd think a comic book company would want to do, but what do I know? So yeah, I assume NFTs.

How Wonderful! posted:My wife has been going into a big nostalgic Star Wars deep dive and that's led me to the current Marvel comics. I think they're by and large quite good, even as someone who until very recently just never really got too invested in the franchise. I don't ever really see them talked about in BSS though, and there definitely doesn't seem to be a dedicated thread. I'd love to hear your thoughts, but as you've discovered, I think most people (including myself) fell off them after the last relaunch. There's some good stuff in the early bits, though.

Joseph Michael Lisner looks exactly like the person who would draw Dawn, yeah. According to Wiki there was 30 issues of Dawn published between 1989 and 2005. DragonCon used to have a Dawn lookalike contest.

I popped hot on a rapid test this morning after two negative ones Tuesday and yesterday. I feel like 90% okay, just have a mild sore throat and cough. I'm way more annoyed that we had to cancel our elopement celebration BBQ tomorrow. On the plus side, it means we can eat the brisket and pork butt tonight instead of waiting until tomorrow. Wife, of course, feels totally fine and her rapid test is negative. (She went and got a PCR test for obvious reasons, but we won't get those results until Monday at the earliest - I dropped one off Wednesday that I'm still waiting on.)

Mine was X-Men Classic #3, which reprinted a Roy Thomas/Neal Adams issue of Uncanny where they fight Magneto in the Savage Land, which is probably as good an intro to comics as you can get. I think I still have it somewhere.

I guess I had a bunch of Archie digests before getting into superheroes, but I certainly couldn't tell you which I got first.
