Herbert’s first start last year when Tyrod got hurt went from “Oh God, he has to go toe to toe with Mahomes!  ” to “Oh hell yeah, this is awesome” real quick once he was playing, but absolutely nobody expected him to be as good as he has been as quickly as it happened.
