Having Vince kicked out of WWE probably didn't help AEW either as I wouldn't be surprised if a few disaffected WWE fans started watching AEW but then went back to WWE after Triple H became booker man. I'm definitely not as into AEW as I was 1-2 years ago, but not sure if that's because of the product or i'm just busier.

Tbh I'm only interested in the main event and Mox v Hangman which is a shame. And you're probably driving to at least half those shows. The work schedule in WWE is why a lot of the top guys went into WCW during the Monday night wars, they got way more time off in WCW. No idea how many house shows WWE still does and I'm pretty sure AEW does only a handful so maybe it's a bit better travel-wise. Also thanks Cornwind, the Cody-Dustin match was before I started watching AEW so I had never seen it. I found the full match somewhere and wow that was loving fantastic. I hope they had a unit of blood for Dustin backstage afterwards because he probably needed it.
