Truckers was definitely on YouTube a few years ago. I watched in a fit of nostalgia for the copies recorded off the telly onto VHS at my grandparents house (with one episode missing.)

B is almost certain to be the case. No idea about A, sorry.

jiggerypokery posted:If he wanted to, could Starmer press libel charges? Doubt it. Stamer did not prosecute Savile while DPP, and has previously apologised for it. Nothing Johnson has said is technically false afaik. e:Subsequently, in 2013, Starmer commissioned barrister Alison Levitt to investigate whether or not the CPS had been right not to charge Savile in 2009. She concluded that she had “reservations” about the decision not to proceed with criminal charges. “On the face of it, the allegations made were both serious and credible; the prosecutor should have recognised this and sought to “build” a prosecution,” she said. Sir Keir accepted Alison Levitt’s conclusions and apologised for the CPS’ “shortcomings” in the Savile case.

Hello, a quick request. Talking to someone who took Starmer's leadership pitch at face value and trying to point to reasons why they in fact *could* have known he was a slippery weasel back in 2020. I seem to remember Sienna Rodgers of LabourList saying something at the time about him being a politician without any political beliefs, but can't track it down. Would appreciate the help if anyone else remembers it and can find it! Have already covered his part in the 2016 coup and the fatal 2019 Brexit policy.
