News about police stuff is scaring the poo poo out of me, like the news stories I head about LA. One of the worst departments in the country, and there is stiff competition. The sheriff is actively fostering white supremacist gangs, with murder tattoos and everything, while saying anyone points this out is a spooky Jewish Soros puppet. Some idiot pig unloaded an assault rifle into a teen girl in a dressing room last month, and he's reportedly a wannabe "reformer." LAPD shootings went up last year. And in mayoral debates, every candidate tripped over themselves to say they'd increase funding to them. It isn't a craven calculation to appease Republicans, they want this. All that energy from 2020 and all the memories of the wanton, sadistic violence the police inflicted is gone, except for among some easily-ignorable activists. There are marches for the girl, and Amir Locke, but the national media is ignoring them. Meanwhile Republicans are still baying for blood over poo poo from the Obama years. I don't know what the path forward is when the one side is set up to just purge black people.
