in the movie, willem dafoe is alfred and he spends all day tormenting bruce and ripping rear end until bruce loses his mind and begins imagining himself as batman. it's really good and everyone should see it.

I don't have amazing hopes for it because of how little they've said about the non-Batman stuff. Batman films, for me, have traditionally hinged on all the cool villains and events that Batman has to react to, and I feel like WB generally accepts this to be the main draw of the movies. This one I know nothing about, except that its Bruce Wayne probably knows a lot more about Factory Records than me. That's not a... great sign. Like, maybe they're holding the neat stuff close to vest in order to really surprise audiences, but I doubt it.

Just watched trailer and they like almost show a good looking batmobile and that was pretty much it. I think they gave up after Dark Knight tril and refuse to have a good batman or film again.
