When I preheat my oven it takes like 12 minutes to cook a frozen pizza. When I don't it takes like 17 minutes. So of course I preheat I'm a busy man with things to do.

I believe the well know superhero Goonman ate some fried chicken that was baked in preheating radiation given off by the ovens element, and that's how he got his powers. So its not without risks.
