i watched the IGN YouTube review of Elden Ring by FROM Software with scenario writting by George RR Markien and it looks very cool. like it looks huge and awesome world...the kind of world you just want to chill and eplore. like horizon. but dark souls and bloodborne are just, not my thing. i dont like hard boss figths. i see that elden ring fnally adds a map feature which, thank god, but does it also have a easy or "story" setting for dumb idiot babys like me?

the open world nature seems to present a lot of ways to progress at your own pace and get stronger to make parts too hard a little easier. the best way to play these games is at your own pace, they leave a lots of ways to tweak difficult for yourself.

You just have to die a lot. If you keep playing you can't help but get better and progress it's nearly impossible to make your brain work differently. Exactly how much dying is up to personal skill but even the twitchiest of twitch streamers die a lot their first playthrough.

If you enter the konami code at the start menu you can unlock the 'developers' setting, which is how they intended it to be played. All the enemies just have nice conversations with you. Sometimes humors, sometimes philosophical, sometimes just shooting the poo poo. Anyway that's was the proper designed game. From just put in all the fighting difficulties settings to waste the lives of those who thought violence was the answer, and to help teach them it's not fun. That's been froms main motivation from the start, they've mentioned it in many many interviews, but like gamers man. What ya gonna do.

In Iron Pineapple’s review he mentioned how you could return to areas overleveled and two-shot bosses, which would never be possible in previous souls games, so I guess that means you might be able to grind your way to easy mode in this one?
