i did most of my NES and SNES video gaming when i was a dumb and edgy teen and in my pretentious *and dumb* 20s, so usually when i played literally any game up to and includign the PS1 era, i would always listen to, oh i don't know, Nine inch Nails or Godspeed You Black Emperor or whatever bullshit i thought was cool that year, because i was like "why not do two things at once, and video game music is just, it's fine" man, i was so wrong. i was so dumb! the other day i was looking for something to listen to before bed, and i put on "relaxing SNES music volume 1" and like i literaly didn't get to sleep because i was laying there paying attention to just how absolutely good this poo poo was it's crazy... it's good poo poo. i know i'm infinitely late on this! but maybe, i can save someone else, who is as dumb as me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLgms78JVo0

There's a lot of good fan made remixes for a lot of games.
