I feel like I like individual songs more on Aenima (and I feel that individual tracks on Lateralus don't reach the heights of Eulogy or 46&2), but Lateralus definitely flows better as a cohesive album. I feel like Tool tapped into something raw and natural on Aenima that they haven't reached since, but Lateralus has a spiritual essence to it that's so unique to their catalogue. Overall it's incredibly hard to split the two

Aenema is dated, but Lateralus is a cohesive concept album by one of the last rock groups left cant say ive listened in quite a while tho
