My advice for shrimp is to eat them on rice with a good sauce. Take a quarter cup each of finely chopped onions, bell peppers and carrots and season them with a creole spice blend before sauteing them in butter. Add a quarter cup of white wine, half a cup of heavy cream and a couple tablespoons of apricot preserves and boil. Add in a bunch of shredded crab meat and continue boiling until it's done. Now pour the sauce on the shrimp and rice.
