I AM a scientist OP, and laughing while shitfarting is currently understood to be impossible. What you likely did was a rather rapid sequence of shitfarting, laughing, shitfarting, laughing and so on, just not at the same time. If you believe that you did do both simultaneously, my team at Texas A&M would like to have you in for a study.

according to some theories of humor, laughter evolved as a way for the body to release tension after something unexpected or alarming triggers a fear response once you realize there is no real danger when you fart and then laugh at your own fart, that is your body going "oh gently caress I just shat out all my organs - oh wait nevermind they're still there, ha ha phew"
