The coolest guy ever, Alan (Mushroom) Kapuler, graduated college at like 16 years old, then went on to a PHD program in biology. He lived through the 60's and REAL communes. I forget if it was this interview or another one, but basically he said whenever a commune would run out of drugs/weed, the majority of the people would leave.
I cannot stress how cool this guy is, and there are more interviews with him if you search youtube for his name.

Wow these and the twin oaks one are super cool. I like reading the bios they put up about themselves and the decision making. Thats real interesting. Also u get work credits for doing stuff that isnt traditionally called work
