Can’t the matchmaker be a little bit less blatant about matching you with nearly identical mirrored decks? Also, why do the pixel variants all look so bad? Yeah I know I’m months late on these observations

I think I’m done with this game. I got to infinity, but I still don’t have pool 3 complete and some switch flipped in the matchmaker where 80% of opponents are using pool 4/5 decks or harassment decks I have no counter for and don’t feel like playing against anyways. I’m losing like 2/3 of games now, I guess I just am expected to lose constantly until I get pool 4/5 cards?

Am I strange for thinking that pool 1-3 harassment cards like the goblins, scorpion, professor x, etc, are many times more enraging than any of the pool 4 or 5 cards? I play galactus so I am biased there, but I don't have high evo and I don't think they're that that bad to play against

I think shuri sauron is the first legitimate/non-gimmick deck I have assembled that is top tier competitive, and just in time for mobius too. Too bad half the decks I'm encountering still make me want to uninstall even if I generally beat them

Re: toxicity You have to take into consideration that like 1/3 of all cards in the game are harassment cards, in addition to the emoji stuff. Galactus/Alioth/Evo/Even a bunch of pool 3 cards like the goblins and scorpion are toxic and unfun to play against It does seem to me that considering everything the level of toxicity in this game is very high, though I haven’t played other online card games or LoL or anything besides counter strike icantfindaname fucked around with this message at 00:30 on Oct 4, 2023 |

I want someone with more art knowledge to explain why the pixels look so bad. I think it is because they’re not an art style that looks good pixelated and are just generic art run through a pixel filter, but also the resolution/palettes seem wrong somehow

I know it's not rational but man, this zabu/darkhawk deck is like the single most unfun deck to play against I've ever seen in this game. How do you counter it? Cosmo and shang-chi for darkhawk, maybe? Doesn't seem to have any hard counters, which I guess is the point

I tried it a bit, it still seems bad to me  The ongoing power cards, iron man darkhawk and knull, don’t synergize and there’s not space in the deck for support cards for them, beyond maybe one each
