Everton's squad is pretty bad and they've done zero to strengthen it so far other than signing Tarkowski on a free. If DCL gets injured for an extended period, as he tends to do, they're extremely hosed for scoring goals. It kind of reminds me of the Palace squads pre-Vieira where on paper they should easily be mid-table but then they get on the pitch and look like they've never played together before.

The one Everton fan in our department is uhhh not confident for the coming season. Apparently there was a deal in place to sign Connor coady that fell through because they couldn't raise the funds. Sounds like the money tap has finally been turned off and Frank's been left to assemble a squad from the the grab bag of expensive shite the previous managers have signed. Which would be rough if it were happening to anyone other than frank lampard but as it is: lmao
