I last regularly posted on a PC in November 2013. That's when I left a part time job where I was getting paid $20/hr to read and post on the Somethingawful.com comedy forums at my desk.

At that point I started phone posting exclusively and do all photoshops, videos, etc. for threads also on my phone. It's much easier to edit videos of Lowtax contemplating blowing his brains out or goatse stretching his rear end or whatever and hide my phone screen from onlookers than to do it on my laptop or htpc and having to answer the question of "what is that man is doing to his anus?".

When smartphones first started becoming A Thing, I had a friend who was very into them. One night, we were all out at a coffee shop, and his teenage daughter was there, and he was staring at his phone watching facebook update in real time while she was talking to him. When she eventually snagged his attention, he had no idea what the past hour of conversation had been about, and she loudly declared, "That phone is the worst thing that ever happened to you!" and stormed off to get involved in drugs or teen pregnancy, idk I wasn't her dad and her even being there was weird af.

Anyway, I was already addicted to the internet on my computer, so I disabled a lot of my phone's online abilities right after that.
