maybe not better than naked lunch, but of a piece w/ existenz, big sim vibes to that joint, along with hella refs to all his films viggo masterson is fantastic, channeling big peter weller in naked lunch energy and bringing his own brand of big weird sexy to the proceedings lea seyduex is an absolute unit, just massacres the lines and portends all over the place k-stew fuckin owns, she takes a minute to get into the role and in the earlier sscenes i was mad  about the choices she/cronenverg were making in re: her mannerisms but by about the halfway point she is way into it and so am i, and near the end when she gives viggo the most weardest alien kiss ever put to film it is some very serious chef kiss momentand just the cinematography is beaituful magootiful. there's frames i would actually want as paintings, surrealist Dali type paintings 3 thumbs up
