Ketchup does not belong as a sauce or in soups. I've known people to use it in soups and it tastes like shiiiiiit. Back in college my stepbrother ruined a pot of chili a decade ago by draining an entire bottle of Hunt's into it. Gave the whole thing a sickly sweet corn syrup taste.
