People sleep on the Su-25T because it's the free jet that comes with DCS, but it is really pretty capable in terms of pretty much every mission type that doesn't involve a dogfight.
It has:
Built-in targeting pod (Shkval electro-optical sensor system) that doesn't take up a pylon.
2x 8-shot racks of Vikhr laser beam-riding rockets that wreck pretty much any ground target, with very few exceptions.
2 heavy anti-radiation missiles that are 15 feet long and weigh 3/4 a ton, along with four smaller ones that still erase SAM search and tracking radars. Add the Vikhrs to this loadout and you can wipe entire sites of their air defenses.
Fantasmagoria pod instantly locates radar emitters around you, showing precise locations of SAMs and radar-enabled AAA that are painting your jet. You can slew the targeting pod to the exact location of the radar and then switch to laser-guided weapons, which saves head-down search time.
Only airframe in the sim that has an IR jammer on top of ECM, so you can maximize your chances to survive a missile shot.
A plethora of laser-guided air-to-ground ordinance from the Kh series missiles to the massive S-25L, which is a laser-guided 340mm rocket... for comparison the rocket pods on most NATO attack aircraft fire 70mm Hydra rockets.
If you go unguided, you can strap a ridiculous amount of S-13 rockets that have five 122mm rockets per pylon, which can saturate an entire area in explosions.
Finally, sub-munition dispensers that shower an area in bomblets... like this train
Free jet, slots in this mission for it, free map, free training server to practice on with spawnable missions... if you're on the fence about DCS, come to the goon training server and give the Su-25T a spin, one of us will probably be on to help you get your frog legs.
Can second all of this, the Frogfoot is a ton of fun and, having now started learning the Hornet, very easy to fly and operate. A Vikhr on both wings and maybe a couple of Kh-25's with the fantasmagoria pod and you can wipe out a whole armored column by yourself.
