I like to have songs grouped by a very specific theme that makes it so there is only about an album-size of songs existing in the theme. For example, the theme "songs that feature a melodic human vocalization that's supposed to sound like a wolf", which includes: Changer's Fire (Kiva) Give that Wolf a Banana (Subwoolfer) Werewolves of London (Warren Zevon) Wolf (Tailor) Luna (Bombay Bicycle Club) Wolf (Tungevaag, Raaban) Howl at the Moon (Stadiumx & Taylr Renee) Arguably Animals (Maroon 5) Does anyone else do this? What are some other good theme-grouped songs like this, or additional wolf-vocalization songs for this list? |

Thanks, that's a pretty good howl. I have even heard of Guitar Wolf, because Wild Zero is a fun movie. Another half-formed collection I have is "songs that are fully about corvids". Crows (The Gothic Archies) The Ravens (Bathory) The Raven (Alan Parsons Project) Black Crow (Joni Mitchell) A near-miss because I like it but it's not really *about* corvids: Ravens Land (Voltaire) And not any Counting Crows songs because even though one of theirs probably is fully about crows, that one sucks. I feel like I have another couple for this collection but I can't find them now. |
