General mindfuck video I watched from Veritasium yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSNsgj1OCLA It’s about the 100 Prisoners Riddle which is basically is this: If you send 100 prisoners into a room each numbered 1-100 one at a time, with 100 boxes each with a number from 1-100 inside, what is the likelihood that if you allow each prisoner to open 50 boxes maximum, that each one will find their number? It turns out if you don’t strategize it’s like .00000000000008 percent chance of success or something ridiculously low.
