Given TRS' recent post history as I remember it, I actually was a bit surprised by that post and not sure if it was trolling for the lols or actually coming from the heart. I'm not going to bother digging in deeper though. I will say, I'm totally not surprised by South Main Auto or RB, I got tired of their bullshit a while ago and unsubscribed. I'm fairly certain Matt from sloppy mechanics leans right for reasons I won't get into but he has also done a pretty darn good job of keeping it non political from what I've seen (in fact, political content has actually been reduced recently) and I am alright with that. His wife Jaime posted that they're strongly in favor of the 2A in a YouTube comment section years ago, but only when asked and... I'm strongly pro 2A as well so that's not really an indication. Edit: ok nevermind on that, they just moved the political and racist good ol boy bullshit channels to an area I can't see, then a few months later started discussing that fact in front of me. Tech or adventures is basically the only chance I'd have, and I don't have enough of either to keep a channel going. I mostly use YouTube for free video hosting. That being said, my lovely unedited cellphone footage of some lame 4 wheeling somehow went slightly viral on a jeep forum a few years back because I titled the video "Pat trying to destroy his RARE 5 SPEED ZJ" and oh man it got a bunch of hate-clicks, at least for me. 4900 views, totally unexpectedly, it was just some regular rear end weekend 4 wheeling and I titled it that because we all joked about how mad people got when they found out he was rock-bashing a 1 of 400 1994 factory 5 speed ZJ. Somehow a totally unedited video of me demonstrating how to use tire spoons and break beads without a tire machine got 34k views. None of these would actually grow a channel.

He's a fuckin doofus who spent 5 figures building a 351 to go racing because he apparently didn't want to LS swap and then blew it up because he couldn't tune it as well as he thought he could, but my impression is he's good at repairing stock vehicles. So take anything he says about performance builds with a grain of salt. Haven't determined his politics, though.

He builds high hp 4L80es in the greater Portland OR area and is currently aiming for a sub 9 second pass with his extremely brown (inside and out) LS swapped G body.

My recycler actually clarified recently that they don't care if we recycle pizza boxes as long as we shake the crumbs out, since even if 100% of pizza boxes were recycled the amount of grease added to the recycling stream would not affect the quality of the paper produced. But I am still very amused that Elon was a shithead and released another shithead from Twitter jail, who then proceeded to lose an e-fight with Greta so badly that he put himself in real jail. While making a 2 minute long overwrought video about how he definitely didn't lose the e-fight. Congrats fuckface, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Even if you power an EV mostly off coal plants it still breaks even on carbon emissions before 100k miles because of the thermal efficiency of stationary coal plants being significantly higher than small mobile ICEs and the benefits of regenerative braking. So it's both exporting the pollution and reducing it at the same time.
