I've been rewatching Nathan For You and good god does it still hold up. He has such a great eye for showing things the most awkward, horrible way ever. Though I did cringe a bit too much on the "fat people riding horses" episode.

Watching Finding Frances and man, eerily prophetic when they're watching Donald Trump on TV "I think he's gonna win" - Bill "Why do you think that? He's losing in the polls" - Nathan "Can't trust the polls" - Bill

I mean, it’s a loving insane and ridiculous premise, but I don’t think it was in any way mean or fatphobic or anything lol. I just rewatched it yesterday. It is definitely a "laugh at fat people" but, they wouldn't have shown the people laughing and taking pictures of them if not. That said, I laughed my rear end off and I am a fat person

I'm pretty sure watching my parents have sex would make me feel less uncomfortable than this episode. It kinda reminds me of Dear Zachary where it's an amazing watch and I will salt the earth so I never have to see it again

I really hope they aren't angling for a second season, this defniitely should be a single season story. I'd be down for The Curse Season 2 with Stone and Fielder playing different roles though.

I guess it's a little like an inverse Rehearsal, in that he's acting out his life after the fact instead of before, but otherwise I don't get the connection. It's awkward? Is that it? How many episodes are you in? Because episode 2 is a very different show than episode 5

It's Asher's house, they're staying there without his knowledge until he breaks the lock and comes in. I think ultimately Abshir just wanted to take advantage of the gravy train as long as he could, and he feels zero gratitude for it because he has no respect for Asher and Whitney

Got some more appreciation for the finale thanks to that, 'cause I didn't much care for it at first (besides the amazing cooking show bit) I am really glad I got to watch it week to week. As much as I love a good binge watch I think shows like The Curse are way better when you've gotten time to really let it stew and think about what's going to happen the next week.

Ugh while I have faith in Nathan it really doesn't need a second season. That ending was pretty much "ideal". Though it would be funny for him to just be back with no mention of the finale, except he's always holding on to a railing or something. Or it's Asher's twin brother.
