have you considered getting into retro electronics as an expert and just kind of ruining them? slathering retrobrite on things, stripping screws, snapping plastic. it can be pretty satisfying.

I knew a guy that did that back in Flint. Stole engine parts bit by bit from his job in order to make it and luckily was able to finish it before being fired and ruining his career
